New Delhi, Jan 17: If the court intervenes, then the chief ministers of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana (all BJP ruled) may not have it their way. These states have demanded a ban on Pamavat. The producers of Pamavat have moved a step shead and knocked the doors of the Apex Court.

The producers of Padmaavat move the Supreme Court against the film being banned in certain states. After Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, Haryana became the fourth Indian state to ban Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat on Tuesday citing "law and order situation in the state'. Before the Assembly polls in Gujarat in November last year, the state government had banned the film, which was earlier titled as Padmavati.
